Hey, a mechanics life in the army is an easy way to spend a year there. Sleep in the back of a tank, spend hours pretending to open a socket in the engine room, keep 30 minute coffee breaks every hour, plus you get to drive a tank around on "tests" and stuff. When you go to a training camp, you don't sleep in a tent but in the maintainance(?) truck with heaters puffing all night long, you get to laugh at the normal soldiers running around in the ground... Now that's how the army should be like!
