I've written, been rated, but still can't rate or comment

Although I joined Ciao a while ago, I've never been active, until recently. I originally only joined in order to be able to warn Ciao members of purloined reviews I found on Dooyoo.

However, I discovered some reviews on Ciao that covered a product not even listed on Dooyoo. After reading them I wanted to rate and comment on them, only to discover that on Ciao you can't rate or comment until you've written at least one review that's been rated at least "Helpful".

Well, I've now posted three reviews, all of which have been rated at least "Very Helpful" but still I'm getting the message from Ciao, "Please write a review yourself before you rate other reviews! Only members with at least one helpful review can rate other reviews and write comments on them."

Anyone know what the hell's going on? I've emailed Ciao about this but not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement, let alone a reply.

has the system undergone it's nightly update since you wrote all your reviews (I assume so, and that you didnt write them at 7am this morning..)

Bit weird that, not sure, it never used to be like that so didnt affect me when i joined.

it's buggier than a buggy thing, Ciao is.

It had, or at least I assumed it had. However, it's now working after a couple of days wait so I assume there was some sort of problem and it's now been fixed.

I did get a reply from Ciao mentioning some sort of caching issue.
