| I had something earlier this week.
I have been selling a ring and the winning bid was for £7K. After it is sold I look at the address and it is Nigeria, so I emailed the buyer telling them it was UK only and if they wanted it sent to that address it would cost £130 via FedEx to get insured.
He wasn't having any of it saying he had already paid via PayPal and wanted it Royal Mail, which my post master said not to do as it would not cover the costs of the ring.
Anyway then started getting Paypal emails saying the money has been paid by this buyer but I needed to email/call them with the shipping number before the money would show into my account.
Rang Paypal up, a huge scam. Aghhhh
Thank God I didn't send the damn thing. |

Which backs up my comment that sellers need to be able to leave feedback.
You should also adjust your 'preferences' so that you can't get bids from countries you won't deliver to. |

Do you really think that feedback prevents this kind of thing. Con artists don't generally hang around for repeat visits; they set up new accounts. |

| | They don't need to set up new accounts if nobody can leave bad feedback on them. |
