I know this thread was meant to be about the dooyoo group, but I am hyjacking it.

I just cannot for the life of me get into facebook. Is it just me, or does it take an AGE to load anything? And really, isn't there more to it that a squillion different applications, most of which do the same thing?

Please, someone explain the draw of the place cause it drives me mental when I sign on.

I will be over on bebo...... (where my id is drewboykerr if anyone wants to say hi there!)

It/s your age Drew Laughing you need to get with the program. Very Happy

I find it quite addictive mainly for my daily fix of scrabulous and puzzlebee as well as mindless chatter with other people (which for me is far from daily) e.g. ex-colleagues but i dont see the attraction in terms of networking with people I dont know, i.e. random strangers as it were...!

See, that's what I don't get! Facebook's demographic is a much higher age bracket than other sites of the same (sorta) nature, but I really find it SO much more immature!!

I mean come on, Superpokes, zombie bites etc.......

Lots of apps are ok though, for fun, although my brain is in turmoil as one says I am left brained and the other right this week!!

If you don't add too many of the applications it's still a really good networking site. Plus, I love the fact you can share pictures. I've got loads of great ones of me and my friends which I probably never would have had otherwise.
