Yup, for once he really does deserve the praise for his acting that usually flies around when this happens.

Is really sad news.

Can't believe some attitudes by some of the media though. The man has just died and all they can do is slag him off.

He was a weird person, had huge mood swings, was obvious he has serious drug problems etc.

Oh for goodness sake. I bet none of them knew the guy properly, if at all anyway.

And so what if he had mood swings? Hell I have them all the time!

That is what they said on Radio One.

I think the main thing the press had a problem with is that he was very open about how he wanted to be left alone and live his life and bring up his young daughter with out having a camera stuck in his face 24/7.

No matter what went on in his private life, he was a brilliant actor and I for one can't wait to see him as the joker.

See, reading about it, the guy was playing some pretty tough parts and if he is immersing himself in them as he claimed, it is BOUND to affect you mentally.

Hell, I can lay awake at night about stupid things but I don't doubt I would need sleeping pills if I was having to think about the stuff that some actors do to be able to play the part right.

But still, I don't agree with the media playing such close attention to people as they do.

Yeah I heard the same and saw a clip today and he does look brilliant.

Do you know when the film is out? Are they putting it back because of his death?

...because he got immersed in the character, and it disturbed him.

He got so immersed in the gay cowboy one, that him and Jake were, reportedly, incredibly close.

I do think that if you go that deep into a character to get it right, it is bound to affect you.

I am saddened by his death. I've always had a soft spot for him since 10 things i hate About You. Such a shame as he was at the height of his career
