Although I joined Ciao a while ago, I've never been active, until recently. I originally only joined in order to be able to warn Ciao members of purloined reviews I found on Dooyoo.

However, I discovered some reviews on Ciao that covered a product not even listed on Dooyoo. After reading them I wanted to rate and comment on them, only to discover that on Ciao you can't rate or comment until you've written at least one review that's been rated at least "Helpful".

Have you noticed that teh categories have changed in the first review draws? Well two of them anyway - we now have household appliances and house and garden - as well as the old photography and video.

I think this is great news and will think about writing in those cats now as an extra �2.50 is well worth it.

The MMR jab rates are at 85% (with an all time low in London) and the target lavel is 95%, so in order to get the rates up, should we take away the parents choice to give the MMR jab?

What more would you do to get parents to let their children have the MMR jab?

I run a holiday reviews site, www.holidayreviewstop.com that is trying to do something a little different by providing a recommendations service powered by the reviews written on the site. So for example, if you are looking for a beach holiday in a hotel in a resort with good clubs, then you can specify this information and the site searches through all the reviews to find destinations that other reviewers have judged match those requirements.

I have just actually read the Ciao newsletter for the month rather than delete it as I usually do. Out of interest I checked out the interview and also the member who was interviewed, sure made me laugh, they have written one review in the whole of 2008 (admittedly a cafe review on the subject of the interview but written in May only a few days before the newsletter would have been put together).

Their prevous review was rated Off opic although thy did Diamond before that on another review ...

Hey all, a while since I last logged into here.

Now I come with a specific issue. I have updated a review, it updated fine, showed old date and updated date was brackets. Fine. However it does not appear at the top of my review list where I want it to be. Of the two options Ciao gives for the updated listing I checked for it to be shown at the top of my reviews (the first option I think) but it hasn't shifted from the old position i.e. that of the original date of the review. Writing suitability to Helium

Hi I'm Ethel. Joined Helium.com a month ago. Posting articles on-line is new to me.

I have a question for anyone. I write dialogue because it makes a story a little more interesting. To be done properly each person speaking goes on a different line. It does makes the story longer and the writing rules don't seem to apply at Helium. What's the answer? Anyone have a suggestion?

A long time ago I decided to try and get a crown in every category on Dooyoo.

I now have crowns in all categories except for PC/Video Games, Photography, Services, Telecommunications & Video.

I find these ones very hard to write in except maybe Services so doubt I will get crowns in them! lol

Anyone else close to having crowns in all categories??

I know it's sad and boring to ask but I am curious and the site is so quiet we need some sort of chat going!!

This story is very personal to me at the moment following the head and hands that were found recently on the beach in my home town of Arbroath.

The woman who died was a Lithuanian who had been in this country working for around 18 months. Two men who are also from Lithuania have been charged with her murder.
