In theory a good idea I reckon although all points system tend to end up flawed and open to abuse and interpretation. Good idea or not?

I can understand them not wanting to allow parents to get drunk while in charge of their kids, but is it really there problem? I counted 30 on a 10 mile stretch of the M1 last friday. Hopefully the 3 points and better policing will force through the message. I heard a police inspector on the radio saying that hands free kits were as distracting as holding the phone and you could be liable for a penalty with those too if you drive badly. Whilst I dont believe they are as dangerous, they are indeed distracting and I'd ban ... Gordon Brown has said he is in favour of the opt out donor card system.

Every dead patient will have organs removed unless that person has opted out.

I think it is a really good idea, and have been told it works well in Spain.
