apparently I am undeveloped

Had an odd one today. I had submitted a 220 word article about the origins of Beltane, very topical with May fast approaching. It explained the outline of the festival and also the origin of the name. It was quite brief considering what I could have written but as a guide I thought it was a good enough starting point for information. It was rejected for being an undeveloped idea. That would be fine if the standards were being raised through out. Also today I was looking through the positions of my articles out of interest and noticed that one of my articles had been knocked off of its No. 1 position, out of interest I thought I'd look at the current bench mark article. My article was in my opinion a pretty thoughout 1500 word break down of a magazine, the piece that has over taken it is a 31 word piece with little to say..and thats a developed idea is it? ....These Americans are crazy.

Dave, it probably has nothing to do with you as a human lol but may have been an admin error with all that has been going on recently, perhaps email help@helium.com with undeveloped feedback in the subject line and ask them specifically what the deal is.


Your article would get knocked down when someone else submits if you were the only other entry in that title. When it goes through the rating again, it should go back up to its rightful position. I had someone submit to my topic (i was the only article in there) that had nothing whatsoever to do with the topic and it knocked me down to #2 however it was eventually taken care of.
