http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=500063&in_page_id=1770

A mother has just won over 8million pounds on the lottery and has bought a huge new house, yet her 15 year old son refuses to move from their small council house.

The two houses are less then a mile apart but yet the son has said he wants to stay near his friends.

Two issues here:

A) Should the mother not just put her foot down and 'drag' her son to the new house?

B) Should the council not put their foot down and kick them out and free the house up for someone who doesn't have 8million in the bank and really needs the house?

What do you think?

Maybe she should change the locks whilst he's at school. Whole things bizarre if there's such a small distance involved. I can't help thinking that there's more to that story than meets the eye.

Kid's probably holding out for a cut of the money.

Regardless of the ethics of her having so much money, a 15 year old can't live on his own. Social services should get round there and stick him in 'emergency care'. Within days he'll be knocking on his mum's door.

When I looked at the title I thought it was about someone winning and then not moving in which case the winnings should be taken from them and given to someone who would go on an indulgent obscene spending spree like ME.

Thankfully the mother has moved into something bigger and naturally the house should go back to the council. Tell the kid o put his name on the list when he is 16 like everyone else has to.

He probably thinks he's doing the right thing - probably thinks its 'noble' to want to stay close to his his friends, even if completely unreasonable.

And hi again, everybody Smile
