| I use Spybot and wondered if anyone knows of a better program or if this one is good enough to keep spyware at bay ? |

| Spydoctor from PC Tools is the one for me. I've used this for the last couple of years and found it to be the best in my opinion. I have used spybot and several others but they only seem to be about 90% effective, where as spydoctor I would put at 98%. Its picked up several rewards from established reviewers. _________________ Rock on

| PC Tools also sell a piece of software called Registry Mechanic and in Tina Turners words I find this to be simply the best. Most people will notice that over time windows takes longer and longer to load up. If you think back to when you first brought the pc everything ran quick but over a period of time processes seem to slow down. This can be down to invalid entries in the Registry. Windows loads the registry when you first boot up and items listed in the registry can take up a small part of RAM (memory). Registry Mechanic removes any invalid entries in the registry which could have resulted from Addware, Spyware, a virus or simply by deleting a program you dont use. _________________ Rock on

| Although it uses up a lot of memory, spysweeper has always done the job well for me. Lisa x |

| You can get it from www.lavasoft.com (I may be blind but I didn't notice anyone else say where you could get it!) SpyBot is pretty good too but I find it annoying as it often refuses to connect properly for downloading the update files. |
