copying's OK ..its official.

Is it just me that finds the top ten Bushisms topic a bit of an odd one. After all how can you write anything original on a subject that can only contain quotes which must therefore have been cut and pasted from another site. An odd message to send out when plagarism and copying are big no no's.

I think they are boring, stupid, not useful on a review site and told Alex it was stupid when I saw them added. Totally pointless topic!

"skater rock is dull now" and "if the universe is infinite, anything is possible" are the two most recent, obviously you will have to add your own spelling mistakes.

Chirracisms would be an interesting one.

what about De Gaulle-isms. "Run away" wasnt that one of his?

Not sure about that one. You could always have Le Pennerisms.

I don't think so at all. He was the frightening one who we almost had the year before last. How about Churchillisms

It just gets on my nerves that they haven't even gone to the trouble of explaining the scenario on most of them!

I hate them.

They all pointless and an easy way to receive a few pence.

I also complained to Dooyoo about them.

The reviews are all SU at best - they are basically copies...and barely anyone bothers to explain WHY they chose those quotes.!

I don't read them as I have no interest in Bush at all. The first time I saw the subject I thought is was Buddhisms ! must change my glasses.

I don't mind the Bushisms category, but I disagree with all of the people rating VU to every Bushism op with a bunch of funny quotes. If there's no explanation behind the choice of each quote, then there's no personal opinion involved, and the review is SU at best.

what personal opinion can you have though, they are quotes and they just prove that the most powerful nation on earth is run by a total arse-head.

Well you could explain why the quote makes him a total arse-head - place them into context, e.g. when he said them and which world leader or ethnic group he managed to offend at the time?

It's hard though, because if you say too much, you're ruining the joke.

It's a tough category to write in.

I guess so but it still seems pretty pointless to me.
