Id Like "A Fever you cant sweat out" By Panic! At the Disco, a good album.

Its not from this year but an excellent Ep is Hellogoodbye's. Its pure class and its too bad they didnt take off over queer boyzone etc ¬_¬

I would love to see Will Youngs Keep on in that list and im sure BadCompany77 would agree on that one

The Kaiser Chiefs......Employment CD... gets my Vote

Fightstar's "They Liked You Better When You Were Dead" for me

Still The Lord of the Rings Complete Recordings (add to that THREE complete releases in total; some 12 hours of music). There simply is no way another album could compete with the presentation, packaging, contents (both musical, extra-musical like the DVD and booklet material with liner notes) and general remarkability for such a COMMERCIAL release to even be possible (otherwise FSM's releases would come pretty close).

Now that is almost an act of culture. I challenge anybody to mention a more thought-out release that is more than just your average CD release in their basic jewel-cases. I double dare you.

Well, it's easy for me, normally I'll nominate the new one from U2 for this, "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb", but in fact of being published in the end of 2004 I'll take another one

I actually do like the Will Young album a lot, go on then WILL YOUNG

if its got to be off the list kaiser chiefs for me...but off the list half man half biscuits, achtung bono was and is my favourite cd

Is there only me who thinks the Kaiser Chiefs album was full of padding? Apart from the 4/5 huge hit singles there wasn't much else to offer. It was dire.

Actually there's the A-ha Analogue album. I'm not sure when it was officially released but they were selling the CDs when I went to their concert in December. Stick that up your pipe 'n smoke it.
