Hi everyone

I am new to dooyoo, have only been on dooyoo for a month. I have written a review on Sudocrem today. However, I received a message on dooyoo saying the following:

Hi there, I see you have written a glowing and very thorough review of Sudocrem. I am the Brand Manager for Sudocrem and because it's a licensed medicine some of your comments could have legal implications for us. Therefore, may I kindly ask that you remove the review? Many thanks in advance for your co-operation on this matter.

Regards,

I am a bit confused, if this person being serious? There are other reviews on this cream and they havent been removed.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

Dayle

Had a look and can't see anything wrong with the review. Did they say what legal implications? Lisa x

I think it VERY IMPORTANT that you send a copy of this message to dooyooteam@dooyoo.co.uk (address is shown on members page on dooyoo) for the attention of Jared as there seems to be legal implications here. Do nothing other than that. Do not reply. Leave it for Jared to sort out.

"An antiseptic healing cream for nappy rash, eczema and bed sores. Other indications: Sunburn, minor burns, surface wounds, acne, chilblains.
Always read the product information before using this medicine.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist. Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children."

Have just copied this off Boots Website and possibly this may have something to do with it. Like Wendy and Rachel said send the message to Jared at dooyoo, and see what he thinks. Lisa x

I am going to close this thread, as I feel that it is a matter for Jared to sort out and that speculation may lead to other legal implications. We have answered the question at hand, though I don't feel discussion of it will help anyone at the present moment.
