Well done you !! that should get you loads of reads. Mine did. The reason that they show your article is that they alternate the top articles in the section so that everyone gets exposure and reads are shared.

I hope it was not the weird idea of a wicked Helium editor with the purpose to placate me for my complaints in the forum

To tell the truth, there are so many gripers, I hardly think they would notice you. Wish people would just get on with it and of course ask sensible questions, but stop griping !

There's are reasons why there are so many gripers, so let them gripe and perhaps Helium will improve as a result.

They already have done, but I feel the gripers will never be content. Bearing in mind that each of the suggested changes takes time to implement, a little patience on the part of users would be nice to see. I see so many complain and yet so few thank Helium for listening. The changes that are coming are these.

Being able to opt out of certain rating categories.
Being able to skip

I think as your article is only on the page for a day the turn over is quite quick so the no. 1 article has already been and gone and they post others from the top of the pile. Recommendations probably help.
