WHY DO SH REVIEWS SHOW UP AS H

two reviews one rating on each of SH

Both showing up as H

I know its been discussed but I can't remember the outcome.

I think that reviews are given the benefit of the doubt for the first x amount of time - so that they don't drop to the bottom before a certain number of people have had a chance to rate.

There's also the ever present arguement about whose ratings mean more - whether the weight is based on dot colour or rating behaviour...

I don't see that that is how it works otherwise most new members would get all helpful ratings.

Must be yet another blip, either that or you are not allowed to rate below Helpful for some reason...are you dishing too many out?

More likely to be not enough by the standard of recent reviews.

Actually, I thought Rachel meant that though she rated SH, the overall rating was showing up as H?

Yes I said that. I rated as SH and indeed they did show up as H.

Thought you meant your rating was showing as SH, not the overall rating. Yes we did discuss this and came to the conclusion it was to do with the people who rate and their length of membership on Ciao.

Silly really, the overall rating should reflect exactly what it has been rated.

I saw one today that had been rated NH by three members (as it was a copy) and E by one member (who probably hadn't realised it was a copy) and it was listed as rated Exceptional overall! (I don't know if that's still the case - it was some time ago now).
