| Tricky one. If people actually kept to the 30 mph limits then maybe they wouldn't be considering lowering them. | |

| There are already some 20MPH areas about and I have never seen anyone sticking to them- not that they do at any other speed limit though Maybe more speed humps would be better? By the way though I H.A.T.E speed humps. | |

I hope the government ignores the content of this report. What a load of rubbish. Fair enough outside schools and shops etc BUT a blanket 20 mph limit is foolish. 30 mph is a very safe limit in most urban areas. I would love to be able to do 20mph in Northampton, most of the time it is a lot less than that. | |
