| http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=488598&in_page_id=1770 A 50 odd year old bloke who made a 12 yr old put some litter in a bin after he dropped a load of leaflets all over the street was arrested by the police on suspicion of assault. He was swabbed for DNA, held for eight hours in a cell and his records remain on the Police database. Hes guilty of nothing in my eyes. Guilty maybe of not turning a blind eye to bad behaviour which most adults tend to adopt given this situation. He should have been patted on the back, not arrested. And the mother should have backed him up rather than threaten him. | |

| Same old same old - BAD PARENTING.
Is it any wonder these kids get away with so much when their mum's take their side in a matter like this.

| It depends how rough he was when he effectively detained the boy. | |

Grabbed their coat and the fact the Police released him saying he didnt have a case to answer says to me...not very rough.

| The article simply isn't balanced enough to make judgment (for me, anyway) | |

I simply don't trust anything the Daily Mail report. They obviously have a clear agenda and present things in a way to suit it. In the past they have distorted stories to do with PC gone mad to the point were they might as well be making it up...sometimes they do!
