There's a new layout on the reviews page. Main Text on the left ratings ect. on the right...

What do people think?

It's refreshing, but I'm surprised the text is on the left, would be a bit more comfortable if the left and middle columns were swapped around I feel, will probably get used to it though. Nice to be able to see comment which can be handy.

Looks pretty good although the fact that the rating button is also at the top will probably result in even more speed rating and non reading of reviews.

There will probably be more comments left as that feature is more accessible.

Overall first impressions are positive in my opinion although I have only looked at a couple of my own reviews and have not done any reading of other reviews yet.

I don't mind the layout, it's nice to have a change anyway. Lisa x

I'm not a big fan of the new layout. It takes longer to load, I can't tell if I have just rated something or what I rated it and I keep getting "popup blocked". I have a pop up blocker turned on and I'm not really keen to turn it off just for DooYoo when I surf the web a lot.

So, definitely preferred the old layout, was faster, subtle advertising and a lot easier to use.

You can choose to just allow pop ups on individual sites, while keeping the rest of the web blocked. You dont have to turn it off just for dooyoo. If you do choose to allow on that site only, and it turns out they are being really stoopid and using pop ups to advertise, then you can change your preferences back to blocking all sites.

I'm not a fan of, it takes too much scrolling for reviews for me, i prefer more writing on one line though like everything else i suppose i will get used to it. I liked the old layout though so am not too much into this. Will take time

I published and rated a bit on Saturday and soon got used to it, I do wish the member pictures on the recently rated your review section had links to their member page on them and have asked if this is in the pipeline on the guide forum, would be a nice to have rather than an essential.

The one thing I took a while to get used to was that after rating the page does not change, on the old system it automatically returned to the top of the page.

I like the new layout, and find it loads quite quickly and I don't have to wait for it to re-load after I've rated. I would also like the member pics to have links in them,

Yep, links from members pics to their home page would be good.

I disagree on this one. I would prefer not to see the member pics at all, never mind click on them. I am not a big believer in return reading though.

Still trying to get used to the layout... although I think I like that the page doesn't refresh when you rate, although I'm still having to remind myself I only have to go back one page to the reviews list and not two.

The silhouette of the girl with puzzle pieces is a bit odd though.

I'm not too keen on it at the moment. I prefer the reviews to be more spaced width ways and they feel a bit bunched up like this.

Not so much to return reads for the sake of it more the fact that it would speed up navigation as the people who rate also tend to be the people I read, if you are one of those that do not rate then I will ignore their reviews from the new review list and the like. I think it is better to show more members rather than the old system that only had the last four names visible.

If you have up to date version of IE or firefox you can open a tab with the reviews list in it then right click over the review and open in new tab....that way when you have finished reading and rating you can just close that tab...no going back at all and the review list is always there Very Happy
