Now I like Terry Wogan - his ramblings at the Euro song contest are legendary but Im glad hes been forced to waive his fee at Children in need. Its either a charity event or its not. Im sure hes not the only one who takes a fee and its probably not fair to focus on him BUT why anybody would ask/ request payment for their contributions is beyond me.

That and the fact that last years comic relief was hit with the whole phone in thing, makes me trust these 'events' a lot less.

I think there was initially. Wogan and Roslin made some feeble excuse or other and as the years went by, people kinda forgot about it.
