| Anyone find him the most hit and miss author on the planet? Last three books I have read of his...The Taking+Great. False Memory=Shit. Life Expectancy=so,so. Maybe it is because he is so prolofic but I have always found this. Anyone else have similar feelings about this or any author? | |

| I LOVED FAlse memory. That's the one where he is giving subliminal messages or something isn't it. | |

| My fave Koontz book was the one where the girl hides in her friensd house while the killer goes round slashing everyone else up, then she gets in his van and hides.
All my books are in storage so I can't get it to rememebr the title. It's one word though I think!

| You know my feelings from my comments on your reviews.
He is like a light meal, not very satisfying and looks good in the packaging but leaves you wanting more.

| Koontz was great at the beginning. Phantoms, Demon Seed etc. Great and innovative. He is so thriller by numbers now it is quite wearisome yet still I try... | |

| Its one of his better efforts but hardly inspired. Shit characters, good plot. Pretty much the same as all his novels really. | |

| He was one of my favourite authors at one time but as others have said I find his recent books an effort to read.
Mr. Murder was about his last decent effort.

| I've just got three out of the library, Velocity which I have heard is good and a couple of others. I'm hoping they will be good as I have read some dodgy ones in the past from him that I haven't been able to get into | |
