I just joined this forum yesterday and wanted to say hi. My Name is Sascha and I live in Stuttgart, Germany. I've been a member of Ciao Germany for over 6 years now, joined Ciao UK a couple of years ago too. Got very bored with Ciao about 2 years ago and was happy when trivago popped up. I'm very active there now because it gives so much more options to gain credits than ciao.

My great grandfather was German, some army general as far as I understand. He migrated to Sweden, and my grandfather (whom I never met btw) then migrated to Finland, he also being in the military. And indeed my sister has a German for a boyfriend, so those two travel back and forth between the two countries. You could say my family is pretty multicultural. Wink

i cant imagine what the world would be if the EU countries will be dominated by Chinese. No offense to my Chinese friends but they are like mushrooms and very hardworking people despite the difficulty to understand other language. Btw, I love Chinese food! tongue

Just said that becasue there is so many different members from different countries. What part of Germany are you from? I have realtives in berlin. Lovely city, and the metro is effecient!
