London Meet - November 2006

Subject: Speakers Corner - London Ciao Meet Entry Fri 30 Jun 2006, 16:09

I want to give every one time to get over the Manchester meet I am sure you are still all recovering, so I propose Saturday 4th November 2006, for the London Ciao Meet. Hopefully everyone will have had their summer holidays by then and it is before the Christmas frenzy, but could have a Christmas theme if people wish. If you are coming from a far you can even tie it in with some shopping on Oxford Street.

I have a few ideas of things that we can do and would like hear what people think about them.

1. Reserve an area in a pub/bar so that we can have some food and chat etc.
2. Perhaps all go on the London Eye and hire a Ciao capsule.
3. Maybe meet in Covent Garden or Leicester Square
4. Have an early Christmas and meet for Xmas dinner with crackers and hats etc then all hit the town for our very own Early Christmas Ciao Party.

Please get in touch if you would like to help organise the meet and if you are interested in attending. Also any ideas would be great. It is very far of at the moment and still in the ideas stage so plenty of time to make decisions/changes.

They usually take a little time to reply, and it is rare to get replies at weekends.

I dont go on enough to get frozen. I might go hough-if i can since it would be fun to see who is who so when reading i can match a name to a face.

So Ben - you have no idea why Ciao have frozen you? When searching for your name it says you have been permanently removed.

In the e-mail, they gave a copy of the rules of ciao, really i would like some specifics, they also mentioned 'clicking cartels', which i have most definitely not participated in, i dunno what the specific is, i really would like a reply although I extremely doubt i'll get one, you can bet your bottom dollar i'll be persistent though lol!!!!

What is a 'clicking cartel'?

It is where a group of people are believed to be only rating each others work in collaboration, oten giving each other E ratings to try and take advantage of the premium fund or diamond awards.
