| Just to let you know the theme for October's competetion on Dooyoo will be HALLOWEEN. It covers all categories and here is Dooyoo's description of it: - Quote :
- October’s Monthly Competition: Halloween!
The month of ghosts, goblins, and ghouls is upon us. What this also means is that we’re in for a month of scary movies, cute costumes, and maybe even a malfunctioning washing machine that might as well be haunted. With that in mind, this month’s competition will be open to all categories, as Halloween draws ever closer. The best “Halloween” themed reviews, which can be about any product, will be walking way with bonus miles at the end of the month. The winners will be selected from any review crowned this month that adheres to the suggested theme…so remember to balance quality with the morbid motif. Don’t forget to write the word “Halloween” as the first word in your headline. That said, happy haunting! -the dooyoo team
Hope we get loads of entries. x

| So do you have to differentiate somehow that a review is designed for this comp (like in the heading) or are all the crowned reviews just read through to find out which have a linkable theme? | |

| No - you have to put the word HALLOWEEN in the title so Dooyoo can see which are for the comp. | |

| I thought of posting a gripes with dooyoo review, informing members that the competition was on because it really is not fair on those that take no part in forums like this | |

Not really since they still have a lot of time. And this site is for others to use and practically every serious member knows about it. Suppose it'd bring a few members here though so it cnt be bad.

| The winners have now been announced and it will be posted on dooyoo shortly.
1st Prize is awarded to Duncantorr, proving that sometimes a short opinion can really shine with his review of Halloween in general, called "Halloween Schmalloween".
2nd prize goes to Berlioz II, for the review of Jerry Goldsmith’s score of The Omen, called (unsurprisingly) "The Omen of Hallowe’en".
3rd prize goes to Malibu Jenny, for her oddly eerie review of Dove Deodorant, titled: "A Spooky Mist on Halloween", posted on the Friday the 13th.
