New member level dot

I just received the Ciao newsletter where they announced the new black dot and I felt an image popping into my mind.



Happy those days when "orange" was the highest level. I really wonder what color comes next. The choice doesn't seem to be endless. Their concept reminds me a bit of marketing strategies for razor blades - at some point you reach the end of the pole....

What dumbass is going to go for 5 million CPs?

There are some stupid people on Ciao and some extremely stupid dot chasers, but five million points?

So let me get this right:

I am a tad short of 250,000 points, (get reading me everyone...)and it has took me nearly 6 years.

5000000/250000 = 20 (doesn't it?)

so it will take me 20 * 6 years which is 120 years...less the six I have done..114 years..

I'll be 152!!!

I am retiring at grey instead!

I think black is an awful colour !! who the heck wants that ?

You probably don't own a American Express Centurion card or hold the Lufthansa HON status.... Black is IT!

Yes, the colour's minging... that's why people won't go for it... nothing to do with the fact only mentalists care about dots in the first place...

I wonder how many there is of each coloured dot? Membership does tend to wain off after orange. I also wonder at the mentality of Ciao bosses, wouldn't an error free site with surveys you can finish and more cash for review writing be more of an incentive than a black dot. We should call it the pox spot.

I knew the effect of Marilyn Manson buying out the company would have a noticable effect. Bloody Goths and their black dots. Maybe they could make them all just different shades of black.

If you got to the black dot stage, Jani, you could be known as "Bernard Black"...which is very funny if you ever saw Dylan Moran in Black Books, he played a alcoholic, sarcastic, book seller...so not a million miles away from your good self. If you never saw it, then it probably sounds like I'm talking utter rubbish as usual.

I haven't even heard of it. So you're talking rubbish as usual.

Besides I still try to get along from being called "The Blue Max" when I was a blue dot to my present red dot alias of "The Scarlet Avenger" to not need any other names for the time being.
