Proposed Ciao Meet In Dundee

Hi everyone,

I've finally managed to get myself signed up on here although I don't have much time to chat much at the moment what with arranging the wedding.

As if that wasn't enough I thought that after all the fun we had at the Glasgow meet last August, it would be nice to try to arrange one on the East Coast of Scotland and Dundee seems to be quite a central choice as well as being familiar to me as it's only a few miles down the road from me, so I'll be able to give some advice about places to stay, where to eat and things to do in the area.

The weekend of choice is Saturday 30th June. I know it's a little bit away and I will do a review on it nearer the time but just wanted to put out a few feelers first to see who would be interested. I've already had a few people saying they would like to come.

Hope there are lots of you that can make it.

Well, as you know I won't manage to be in Dundee on 30th June....but I intend be there in spirit(s). heh heh. I do hope this will be a successful meet.

The review for the proposed meet in Dundee is now up and running on Ciao so if you're interested then have a read and drop me a line.

How did you miss that Drew....It was mid August if I remember, but I didnt go either in the end.

Still we had our Glasgow mini meet last year!


Not sure about Dundee, I think I would be a doubtful, although it is high time I got back up there and see a few people..

Really? I have no idea how I missed that then.

Ah well, Dundee is a possibility for me, it is only about a two hour drive away.....

The main 'meet' was on Saturday 19th August and on checking Sgathach's review you did actually confirm that you'd be with us....but....it must've been is spirit(s) only.

You should be thanking your lucky stars he would have only lowered the tone, no respect these mature students. Now where is my free bus pass I want to go into town tonight and moan about the hooligans in the park.

aw man, you went to the Horseshoe?!?!? I LOVE that bar! I really do not know how I missed that then, specially when I said I would go...... I have no excuse - I live 10 mins from the city centre.

Ah well!
