| Released a new review, and within thirty seconds about 7 people had rated it. I can't really believe they had actually read it in that time... I'm beinning to think that if I wrote the introduction and conclusion to a review, and just filled the middle bit with utter nonsense, I'd still get people 'reading' it and rating highly. Makes me not want to bother with all the effort that goes into writing the review. | |

| I've had that happen quite a bit recently too. I did actually wonder about writing a review that had something in the middle of it asking people to make a specific comment on it if they actually read it.
The only good thing is that at least you're getting double money this month so at least you're getting something for all your effort even though some people aren't going to the effort of reading it.

| You always know of course when you slate something and then the comments say things like "Ooh, must buy one of those!" | |

| Lol, too true. Perhaps I should just enjoy the reads. Still, it is a bit annoying. I always know when someone hasn't read the review when they just write 'Great review' in the comments. That is so clearly a comment just for the three points. | |

Now up to seven 'Great Review' comments on the latest one. Some people have no shame - everyone knows what they're doing...

Lol! New comment today - 'Sounds good - will look out for it'. In my review, I said the product was crap. scan readers, eh? They don't even try.

| Yes I think I feel this need to just leave random comments on peoples reviews... hmmm wonder how a Two Ronnies style 'answer the question before' comment leaving day would go down | |

| I just came across a review posted a few days ago that was clearly off topic as it had been written in the wrong place. I was shocked to see that it had been rated VH by no fewer than 9 members and not one had rated OT. Is this more evidence of people not actually reading reviews or was I wrong to rate OT. | |

Some people read, but don't pay attention to the posting category, some people simply don't care, some are afraid to give out those "bad" rates and some hit VH regardless.

| My favourite comment of all time was:
"I haven't read this review as it's very long, but you've clearly put a lot of effort into it so I have given you an exceptional rating anyway."
You have to laugh!
