For most people it is your actual name.

I just raided the dooyoo Swag treasury. Once we know some numbers, we'll be sending out some dooyoo loot for the people going to this.

It's not looking good though, J. Numbers are very low at the moment and we haven't even argued about dates and venues yet!

Not a big deal....I know from my {other online community that I can't mention} experience that meets are bumpy to get organized. Still, no matter how small we'll definitely send something your way once the dust settles.

Same goes for me, I hate the idea of a website where anyone can find you just by typing in your name. Like I hate mobile phones. I obviously just hate people in general (though saying that, a meet would be cool).

Here's a thought for you too.

Potential employers now frequently google applicants names and follow links to sites such as Facebook. Who needs to pick up references when they can find pictures of you in a drag at the office party or talking about your intense dislike of men / women / foreigners*. (* delete as applicable)

Nope. You wouldn't find me on there. FAR too intrusive!

And Facebook. The word 'fad' comes to mind.

Maybe its a fad, so was friends re-united etc...anyhow if employers want to chase up your behaviour online thats up to them. If you have owt to be ashamed of then it is up to you whether you share that with all and sundry!

Anyhow, if people want to start a Facebook is *Bad Word* thread then good good but who is up for a meet more to the point... as I have said Jared will be posting details on dooyoo itself and sending out free gubbins of mysterious origins.

Anyway for me personally the best place for the meet would be up up norf
in Manchester, Liverpool or Blackpool.

Dates: Late November to Early December

Times: 12 onwards.

A few people have said early November would suit with a preference to Manchesterish so far. Anyone with any further suggestions, locations etc.

How about Birmingham as it is more central for everyone, having said that I have two weddings to go to in November so unlikely to attend anyway in that month.
