Sounds like a waste of court time to me, no written agreement so she didn't have to do anything.

However on a personal account it is a bit out of order if she did promise to split any winnings before hand, I guess she couldn't imagine she would win such a big prize.

If it was me I wouldn't share any winnings but then I would never tell anyone I would share winnings with them

Whenever I used to go bingo with my friends we used to split winnings if over £10, but if I won the amount she did I wouldn't split it. Might give them a bit but not 50-50 or anything.
