| We all know that E's mean nothing other than to help sort the reviews in terms of usefulness. | |

| I don't think that it totally fair Angus. There are still people out there that believe that E equates to excellence and reward. Unfortunately, it doesn't but slating those that believe it and are still positive about the site when others have lost all interest seems negative to me. | |

| Well the Pf is out and I did get £5 but I have just had a look at the diamonds and some where rated below me by members yet they get a diamond and I'm still after my first one. | |

| Well Done KK. Your review was worth it though. Mind you, I did notice you had written a few so if they couldn't find at least one worthy of a diamond then...............
I got £1.50 in PF, 50p up on last month.

| I got nothing. what a surprise. Maybe they are trying to tell old members that our writing is not wanted any more, whilst encouraging newer writers, perhaps with fresher ideas. | |

| Ciao seem to have an unknown agenda for how they dish out Diamonds. I did a review a month or so back which was rated well, but I got no diamond and only 50p in the PF.
We could guess all day as to their ways but don't think anyone could ever work it out.
From the few I have looked at the writer wrote at least 5 reviews in the month and got at least 2 Es on most. This shows that during that month all their reviews written were of a high standard. So maybe that is the criteria and then they pick the one with the highest rating.
But only a thought, don't quote me on it!

The old members write reviews the way a review should be written, discussing the pros and cons and put in loads of personal opinion. That means Ciao have to read and evaluate the review on that. They have become ultra lazy and the way diamonds are rewarded now are by choosing the members with the longest and most comprehensive lists and zero personal opinion. After all, they don't need much thinking about. Actually first time today I had a look at Ciao again and guess what, some known list writers/teacher's pets got diamonds again. What a surprise - NOT. Nothing will ever change unless Ciao change and reward members for excellent reviews, not the no opinion/experience lists that seem to rake it in at the moment. Having said that, there's still the occasional gem amongst all the manure Ciao tend to reward.

Listen, I do not know you nor have I read much, if any, of your work. What I will say to you now is that your grammar and spelling make ME look good and I think perhaps there may be a reason why you have not got a diamond other than "Those bastards at Ciao!" trust me, my spelling and grammar are constant issues and I use spellcheck etc when at work, but when I did write on Ciao I would have an average of 25% E's on my sensible reviews and no diamonds since I quit as Special Events Organiser.

| I got my usual quid, but then I havent written much this month. To be honest I seem to get the same £1 wether Ive knocked out a string of highly rated reviews of a few average ones. I agree with most of the comments above that E's are fairly irrelevant except as a guide as to how well recieved by other members your review was. I can't comment on Diamonds as I've never had one..bastards. When I look at some of the diamond reiews it does make you wonder on what criteria they are handed out as I've seen a few that are very average. | |

| Must say the last two diamond reviews I read, one was excellent, easy to read and full of relevant info. The other one was awful. Bad grammar, hard to follow and just in my opinion, gave little useful info. Id di have lots of personal experience, just not about the product! | |
