| It sounds like I shouldn't be too excited about my diamond reading through some of these posts. I don't think you should be expecting diamonds or pay outs from the premium fund though, as you are only setting yourself up for some disappointment if you don't get anything. The reason I got into writing reviews was that I could never find anything useful on the products I was researching, I wanted to make sure anyone else in my situation could find something of use... anything more than that is a bonus. Maybe you might find Ciao more rewarding if you come at it from that direction? | |

Maybe you might find Ciao more rewarding if you come at it from that direction? Indeed so. Stop worrying about diamonds being a mark of perfection or excellence but rather than an award to someone for achieving whatever it was Ciao were looking for. Diamonds are not awarded for quality but who cares, is it still £15 you get?

| I only got £11, so I don't think so. I prefer getting nice comments on my review from people I respect than getting diamonds to be honest, although the money certainly helps with my reading addiction. | |

| Read it properly Angus. You are nitpicking. There is a full stop in the middle of the post, making it two separate phrases.
You are fortunate.
next sentence
I got nothing.

made £1 this month. Just had a check on Dooyoo and noticed in 30 odd attempts you have not had a crown, yet on Ciao you are upset about not getting a diamond? Without casting doubt upon your writing talents, I think that you may need to do some work on the basics before considering a crown never mind a diamond. Can you see a common theme here?

I like your reviews KK and think yours was worthy of the diamond.

| I don't think anyone should begrudge another member a diamond, and even though we know so little about the way in which they are chosen, it is exciting for people that have never had one before. I remember my first one, and yes - another review I wrote the same month was to my mind much better than the diamond one, but well done on those that got them. | |

| I got my 50p. Doesn't really matter as I wasn't aiming for a diamond. I'm grateful that I got anything and Ciao's min. payout is low anyway.
I have noticed that my new ops/reviews that aren't extra long like my past ones aren't appreciated as much by members though. Some members seem to want lists of technical stuff and every single bit of a product explained to be kept happy. meh..

| If anybody is interested, I have recieved 2 diamonds, looking at my ciao account now it seems that all I have ever earned is about £42, of which 20 is from the premium fund - that is for nearly 150 reviews. Dooyoo will not alow me to re-join as they banned me as they found my age out, ciao are more tolerant. | |
