| What do you think of these types of review? There is loads of new ones popping up at the moment.
I think they are fun sometimes and good way of doing a "filler in" review when things run dry and still earning some money. There not very useful to the consumer though are they?

| Well, knowing the person who has suggested them all i know your opinion that they are a 'filler' is true. Still, they're fun to read and write. I'll do a few eventualy-but not all at once. | |

| Yeah, I realised who had suggested them all and have no problem with them, in fact I have done one today and saved it to post for another time but I just feel people might get fed up of them and stop reading them.
The Top 10 Worst Celebrities has been done to death over the last couple of days!

They're not there to help consumers. I agree with WendyBull with them being there as 'filler in' reviews.

I don't mind them but never rate above U for anything with less than a paragraph per "number". There are some serious lack of effort top tens knocking about. If its your top ten then you should be able to wax lyrically as to why!

There is no reason why these can't be interesting and informative as well. As the didster says "wax lyrical"

| I like the fact that now we are getting top fives as well. It just gives those too lazy to think up ten things a chance to write something. | |

D I think some of them are helpful. The are some that are interesting to read but nothing to do with products like celebs. Others can be very helpfull to someone that is thinking of buying things, but dont have a clue what to get. [EDITED: NO POINTING TO SPECIFIC REVIEWS]

| Most of the top 10s I don't read but there are the odd ones I do, often because there are no better reviews around.
There are some that should be renamed, I never quite liked the '10 worst celebrities', it should be renamed '10 most pointless celebrities'

Yeah - I'm quite happy to read top 10 albums or movies or games, as I think these are quite useful. Top 10 sexy actors or worst celebrities or what's in my handbag are potentially interesting for the insight they provide into the writer, but more often than not I'll just skip them...

| I think this category is great but at the weekend one member did not take it seriously and it totally soured my Dooyoo experience for the day, I found it hard to rate everything VU I was so upset. | |

| I look at them as fill in reviews, when you are at a loss on what to write about. But when people put at least one review on a day, they do have to think of a lot of things to write about. | |

| I was wondering whether a guide could ask Alex if it is possible to put a block on future top ten reviews. The reason I ask is that not only are they unpopular, but on Dooyoo France, many categories that have run their time have been blanked out, so that members cannot write a review. Would this not be a sensible way to go with review areas where no more input is required ? Just a suggestion. The reviews already written stay there, but it stops the likelihood of more reviews being written. | |

| All new Top 10's suggested have been blocked except the one that slipped through on Bushism's! That's a good idea about stopping writing ine xisting cats but I am not sure Dooyoo will do it as it generates a fair few hits, which must be good for the site? | |

| Personally I find them difficult to rate as they are not really a review. How useful is someones top 10 of anything anyway? I find myself rating VU unless its obvious no effort has been made. I guess its down to if you want to read and rate them then do, if you dont then dont. I agree its a quick fill in if your pondering your next review. | |
