| Off to Toulouse again shortly, I want to buy a phone that does not have all the frills, but has more than my present one, i.e. perhaps a simple camera, good keys, clear screen. Any suggestions ? | |

| Sony Ericsson T630 is good. Has a decent camera, plenty of storage and Bluetooth for if you want to share but is also dead easy to use and has a bloody big screen. Battery lasts about two days. Has a little joystick for menu navigation that works well and the predictive text is good but also easy to turn off! Its about £30 on ebay. | |

| It is wireless file sharing between phones. You can transfer pictures, ringtones, videos etc to each others phone. There is no cost and it is the easist thing ever to do! | |

| I`m a big fan of Samsung phones, but I`m thinking they will be too feature rich for your liking. | |

| What does it offer? You can use it worldwide, internet, reasonably large address book, camera (not video) , downloadable games and polyphonic ringtones, although not realtones, sound recorder, and thats about it. You can also call people on it. | |

| The screen is colour and clear, the phone is quite small, but the buttons are quite large, there is also an arrow pad and softkeys on the phone, making navigation around the phone easier. | |

| My Phillips C355 is very basic but ideal if you want no fancy extras. It has a camera and WAP but that is about it. You can download ringtones and games but there is a good selection with the phone anyway if you aren't really bothered about them.
It costs anything from £25 to £40 depending on where you buy. Woolworths seem to be the best for selling them.
My mum bought one and has picked up how to use it really easily, and she still can't figure out the Video player! | |

| Beware of Samsungs that are flip phones, They break really easily and have had really big problems with the colour going after 6 months. Also stay clear of Sony Erricson phones which have a little 'joystick' as control. They have also had a major re-call on them as they have had real big problems with them. The T630 in particular. | |
