Writing for payment.

Helium are starting a new program where magazines and editors ask them for articles they are looking for. Writers write and on the closing date the editor searching for articles will choose the best one. If you want more details, keep an eye on the news area on the Helium Forum.

I submitted my first one! True gardening horror stories. They'll prob be so frightened of me that they'll take my shovel away from me.

A very kind soul sent me a few links that might be of interest for some of you on here.

www.groundreport.com is an interesting site- laid out like a newspaper.

I have only checked them out briefly because this AOL connx enjoys only giving me brief moments of connx time. Article city doesn't pay but it looks like it may be a good way to promote your articles or yourself as a writer.

have you tried any of these seph, are they any good? Always looking for new outlets, thats how I ended up on Helium in the first place. (sorry Rachel followed me in) ...(its a joke Rach, a joke...oh, please yourself)

Helloooo pyke. I signed up for Ground report yesterday not sure if it is just for the states or not as been busy the couple past days but i believe they do pay.

The earners forum is quite big place so havent really gone in to surf around, but did find someone had posted those 2 links as excellent sites for promoting their writing. There is also writesight.com. A site where you have a little writer webpage with a few articles and option to pay $6 each month to receive messages for writing assignments (I get sent film script stuff and animals) but it is a wee place to have as a link just like the Helium link.

Article city just looks like it is a place to post an article to entice people to read it and your other work.

I think this site www.todaybooks.com looks like it has a place for submitting product reviews. They are publishing my poetry book and are pretty easy to work with. However I noticed when this computer got around to allowing to sign in to the site, that there is a mentioning of product reviews. But I can not search into it further because of whatever firewalls or virus protection is on this computer - it will only let me click so far. I am sorry I can't get you reviewers more information about this but if you have a chance perhaps some of you can check it out further than I can.
