| I'm not so sure.
There are many instances when pictures of peoples death are shown in the media, just because its Diana doesn't mean her's shouldnt.

| yes, this is in bad taste indeed.
I don't have a particularly high opinion of the way the media is going in general (Tv and news), and if I despaired at the crap that is BB and the like - then this is a different league altogether.

| I couldn't give a hoot about this show - but why do people get so up in arms? If they don't want to watch, nobody is tying them to the chair and forcing them.
The best response to bad or tasteless TV is to turn it off or turn it over.

| Good 'doco' to be fair, tidying things up some. The pics werent offensive, but put the chronology of events in perspective. Enjoyed it, especially the presses reaction to the events via talking heads ten years on. | |

| The pics were intrusive. The documentary could still have been 'good' without these unnecessary shots. | |

| The twin Towers being hit are intrusive. JFKs brains flying out are intrusive. But its history, and DI and JFK wanted to be part of it, and so ultimately risked these outcomes. They literally lived by the camera and died by the camera. I know its a loose anolgoy but if Di hadnt married a prince she didnt love , then the kids wouldnt have been born. No one here is offended, and im sure the prince`s were on the lash last night when it was aired. Its 10 years ago. I think their spin doc put them up to it guys. | |

| I watched the program today. I didn't think the pictures were necessarily intrusive as they weren't of the highest quality. It could have been pretty much any woman in the car those photos showed. They took the small step to block out her face but really I think that was more out of 'we're trying to be nice' than a practicality as she still wouldn't have been that identifiable from the images shown. | |

But we know who it was don't we and we know it was the moment she died. How would you feel if that was your mother. Why would anyone want to see pictures like that? It reminds me of when an accident occurs on the motorway and the other side slows down to have a look (rubbernecking I think they call it).

| I think it is bad taste no matter who it is, or what their position is in society.
I did of course vote with my feet and not watch it, along with all the other distasteful crap that is on TV
