| What is the score with the movie only and DVD categories ? Has it changed ?
It may be helpful to members if dooyoo made an announcement on the member page so that people are clear about the format.

Don't be silly we want it all kept secret so that we can down rate people and carve up the crowns amongst ourselves. It is supposed to be completed by the end of next week however don't quote me on that. Cue the prompt for somebody to hit the quote function go on you know you want to.

| There was a lot of confusion and the rule used to be
film only - VHS section DVD review with full DVD explanation - DVD department.
I do not know what the ruling is yet and we are waiting for the guides who are waiting for dooyoo to explain what is happening now.

They want to simplify their search engine for outside users I think.

| I was meant to be having one on my film reviews moved because I hadn't written any dvd features yet I had palced the review in the dvd section. However, the guide informed me that the dvd section no longer needed any dvd extra bits added to the reviews so it no longer needed to be moved.
therefore I assume the changes have already taken place?

| Not so much being discussed as the work is meant to be done next week to merge the two categories.
There are still some questions over what title it will all appear under and the movie guide has asked for clarification.

| Apparently, the VHS category will be removed all together shortly.
The name for the new category is being researched - their techies are testing names for Google optimisation.
Watch this space. | |

| An announcment will be made by Friday or early next week once the VHS section has been incorporated into DVD so it should be clear for everyone who bothers looking at the announcemnets on the members page. | |

| I think it's about time this was done, it will make life a lot easier.
I'm constantly baffled that some films appear under VHS when they haven't and will not be released in this format.

| No my friend, any film reviews posted under VHS were supposed to be on just the film. Any under the DVD section were supposed to cover extras as well. Lisa x | |

I'm constantly baffled that some films appear under VHS when they haven't and will not be released in this format. Oh, ok. That's pointlessly confusing then, they should have just renamed VHS films. Or some section so people who've been to the cinema could review it. No point complicating things when they don't need to be eh?

that would have been far too simple, and what would we have debated about

that would have been far too simple, and what would we have debated about absolutely, on epinion they have a category called "In Theatres" to cover films being viewed on screen but that could cover TV or cinema...easy.
