BOOKS UP FOR GRABS.

I have many books that I want to get shot of. If any members are looking for a read and are prepared to pay the postage, I shall gladly send them to them. Keep your eyes on this thread for a list.

All mine are on Bookhopper, which is a free swap site but the sender has to pay the postage.

I use readitswapit to exchange my books, works pretty well.

Funny you should say that, as every time a draft book comes back from a customer it is always filled with all kinds of scribbling of "corrections" and stuff!

or bending spines...especially from people who borrow your books....I think that should be made a criminal offence..

I once lent someone my hardback copy of IT and it was like new when it left.

It was ready for the bin when it came back, with coffee rings on the cover, dog scracthes down the spine, ripped and bent pages, not to mention ash marks everywhere!

I was livid but too shy to say anything!

Stephen King is a wonderful writer, that's a shame about your copy of IT, thats a good book...

and going off of what Helen said, that is my biggest pet peeve(sp) is people bending the binding, I rarelly let people borrow my good books because a lot of people don't care haha
