It might be as simple as a technical thing, now they have established that they have members that share the same ISP. This also causes problems here on this site.

one problem is that another student who lives with us has had her account frozen but has not been emailed! surely they have to inform her! i have told her to email them as she has not been told anything about it!

that's the best thing, stay in touch with dooyoo and aswer any queries they have. Tell them anything you think might be helpful although as you don't know what they are looking at it may be difficult. Just be patient and see what they say next. x

sorry but i dont understand what u hav just said sirg! we are both on same IP as from what i understand we use the same connection so that gives us the same IP, however we each have a laptop (well liz has a desktop at mo) im confused as to how it all works, but my father says we would have the same IP but you can tell if its a different computer! is that right??

have you never been to a student house b4? lol, we comunicate over the internet as we lazy lol. And its easier 2 talk over the internet than go upstairs as you could interupt the peron upstairs lol
ok its really just laziness!
and we have our own computors/ laptops as most students do!

I'm not sure how there are three people here with our IP, its just me and nicole, other housemates didn't join. Unless it makes a difference that I used to visit on my laptop, but now i do so on my desktop.... ?

Some ISP's offer static (fixed) IP addresses whilst others set the IP address each time you connect, so it can be different.

Also Dooyoo cannot rely on the IP address alone, although it can be a good pointer. There are many programs out there that can mask your IP address by hiding it, allowing the user to add a fictious one, randomly change it and cleverly assume the identity of a previous visitor to the site.

Hackers will employ these tactics to try an avoid detection.

I'm back! And I got two crowns while I was gone lol. My miles don't seem to have gone down at all, but I'm not totally sure. All I really care about right now is that I'm back!

I just realized that its like 30minutes after I get my daily dooyoo email, so I won't get that nice email telling me of who posted reviews yesterday Sad
