| I sold a load of old keilkraft model aircraft kits a little while ago. these used to cost me about a fiver new, most of them sold for about £15. It was about half a dozen i had. So if you got any in the loft sell them,i would. And the ezebuilt boats they used to make go for more. | |

| Sadly (or fortunately for us, the sellers !!), it's not just eBay where people are gullible. I run a website selling British foods to overseas customers - mainly Americans. One of my products is Cadburys Dairy Milk Bars, of which I buy 2 x 400g bars for around £4.00, and sell them for about £8.00. Worldwide postage on this item is an extra £6.00, bringing the total to £14.00 for two bars of chocolate. I was therefore quite surprised when I had an order for this, and the delivery address was... "Milton Keynes" !!! The buyer could have gone to any supermarket and saved himself £10 ! This hasn't happened just the once either - I have had several orders from UK customers who seem happy to pay nearly double the retail price on everyday goods !!!
P.S. Anyone want a bottle of HP for £5.00 + P&P ? (I'll even give members of this forum a 10% discount !!). | |

| Weird how people would be willing to pay that much postage for chocolate that they can buy in the high street..... Don't you offer inland postage options? As for me...I don't think I've managed to find such gems. I just sold a crucifix cross thingy I had in my drawer for years that was given to me. That sold for £12 surprisingly. I thought it was worth 99p. Item 6270280381 | |

| I suppose the best sale I have had on Ebay this year would be my sim cards. I collect all the "free" sim cards and then sell as a job lot. I sold 44 for £72.00 which I thought was great |
