| Are alerts really that important that you have to write to them twice in 24 hours? | |

| I haven't had an email for a couple of days either now, but I can't really be bothered to write and complain lol | |

| I find it a bit of a relief when the alerts don't work - stops me feeling guilty about the things I can't find time to read. I'd certainly not write to Ciao about such an issue. | |

| The alerts have always been wonky, at least as far back as I can remember.
Sometimes you get 'em and sometimes you don't.
I think that if you rely on your alerts to get your enjoyment from Ciao you have to take a look at your membership.

| alerts just stop me from missing someones review, sorry but I am bit daft like that, I try to keep up with them if I can, maybe you are all right and I should not be that bothered. | |

| That's not daft at all - I keep them all in a folder in my email system and then try to blitz a whole bunch at the weekends. I actually wish that you could go into Ciao and just see a list of the reviews from you CoT that you haven't read yet and save on all the alerts. | |

| Thanks I went through pages of the new reviews and hopefully I did not miss anyone, I got alerts today again, so it seems my little problem has now been sorted | |

That's a very good suggestion. I don't use alerts for various reasons, but that would be a very welcome feature.

| Wonder about that, though. Add somebody to your COT and get 200 unread reviews, or don't visit Ciao that often and get stuck with "you haven't rated 25 reviews from this author." | |

| I like the email alerts;, I get them all in one email on a daily basis and I can't think of a time when I wasn't receiving them every day. Saying that though, as Ciao's been so "buggy" of late I hadn't been logging in as often and I thought I should have had more reviews to read but I managed to get through my alerts pretty quickly in the last few days (even with having to click the ratings buttons a gazillion times) GRRRR
I guess there are less reviews on my alerts because of the bugs so maybe others are writing less and spending their time elsewhere too?

| I use alerts sometimes. I only follow up if members have written something in a category that interests me though. | |

| Sometimes they come, sometimes they don't. I get them once a day but sometimes save them until I have more time. | |
