| Hey all, I went on my profile this morning having put a review up the night before, only to be met by a series of blank spaces where it should be - reads, rates, comments and links seemingly erased. Anyone know whats going on? | |

| ah the gremlins are truly at work today....take a look in your guest book also - I have messages from people which are clearly for someone else - I even have one that has been replied to by the person it was actually sent to - the disturbing thing is that Private Guest Book messages are missing also and I have obtained a few that are not for me....and I am pretty sure the senders would not be happy to know that I have seen. I have sent Ciao an email suggesting they shut the site (as they are usually so good at that) until they rectify the problem. All the alerts I received yesterday I cannot access the reviews. | |

| Well I have just followed a link in email for an alert and the review is about something entirely different and is obviously written by someone else - this cannot be doing ciao any good let alone us writers - this was a review on a Hotel ....by a very good writer - what I got was a review 8 lines long by an obvious newby about a printer..... | |

| I am sure ciao will sort out all the money issues they have put up a notice ....." Temporary website problems Dear Ciao members! Concerning to a temporary technical problem with our database it's not possible to evaluate a review at the moment and reviews might have disappeared. We are aware of caching issues, we are taking them very serious and are working to solve them as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience. Your Ciao team 27.06.2007 10:00" | |

| FINALLY !! ..... (found my password!) - I have been battling with CIAO fr 3 days and managed somehow to retrieve/rescue 3 reviews by using th search box ! You were lucky - one poor member appears to be advertising the contaceptive pill- I wonder what they'll make of that when they see it?? I ended up being responseible for a PC War Game (not too bad - got off lightly there - but then had to put up with other peoples neg comments about it! This is DIABOLICAL - Come back Helium - all is forgiven (well not quite the measly earnings!) | |

| I posted my 31st review just few minutes ago about a MS software. It went well but I found out that the text of my review was not the one posted, but instead a 'Lancome beauty product' with 8 comments on it. I was in panicked because of getting 'not helpful' rating, thinking that it was posted in a wrong category product.
To minimise the damage, I decided to edit my review to find out what happened and to check if my texts are totally gone. But to my surprise the review is totally complete! I posted it again and luckily it got through.
I did not notice that Ciao posted a message in the notice board of the technical problem.

| Just been over there and found I've 'lost' money, reads/rates and gained messages in my guestbook that aren't for me. Those Ciao gremlins are certainly having some fun still. Lisa x | |

| I also found out now that if you changed your rating - for example from very useful to exceptional, the rating will not changed, but instead the two ratings will appear on the review rating box.
I suggest as Averilla mentioned, better not do anything at the moment.

| I have some GB messages that aren't for me (no PGB ones though - shame!) and all sorts of strange reviews opening up. I feel very sorry for those that have posted a review in the last day or so, no one can rate it fairly and they are likely to end up with some OTs. | |

I gave someone an OT rating on Wed night not having a clue to the problems on Ciao, now I can see what was going on (review names and review content getting all mixed up) so hopefully that member comes forward and gets me to rerate or I'll feel guilty for about a week. It's just typical that this would happen in the closing moments of the 'double payment for summer' scheme. I wish I had taken advantage of it more now. Can't see any indication of when Ciao will sort itself out. Getting ridiculous.

| Ha ha ha. I tried leaving a comment on a review, but it actually posted somebody else's comment. Tried it again on the same review, and the same happened again. They even show in my stats. Now I'm curious whether my lewd comments have popped up in a totally different review. Ah, Ciao, you crack me up! | |

| I added a disclaimer of "To whoever's review this ends up on, I am sorry this won't make sense" or similar to the end of one of my comments once I realised they just disappeared into the abyss. It probably landed on a toberlerone review when I was actually commenting on a book. | |

| I was wondering if anyone can actually access my review for Sunglasses-Shop.co.uk. I can't access it by any means, even when I try to edit the review it says the page doesn't exist. Hopefully Ciao iron out these problems soon, but I posted that review like 2 days ago so I'm starting to get a tad worried!
Anyone got any advice? | |
