I felt really sorry for the kids involved in that family, some of them the older girl especially was obviously struggling 'keeping the faith' but she couldn't bring herself to rebel...

If anyone hasn't checked it out, watch Keith Allen's meeting with the same family: it was on channel 4 last week and entittled Keith Allen Will Burn in Hell. By no means as subtle as Louis, but at times outright hilarious as he shows this bigoted, rednecked, fundamnetalist bunch of hating halfwits up for what they are. Excellent companion piece.

I thought Allens piece was poor. I dont rate that guy at all, cashing in on his daughters fame.

My mum and step-dad live in America and my Step-dad is a pastor so I have seen first hand how some of the people over there are really into their religion and there are a lot of 'cults' like that over there. They are like the new KKK.

The family that I read/watched has brought up her children to believe the same as her and they have gone through hell standing up for what they believe in- I dont think you would do that just for the fun of it.

Also on one program I saw them on they were really getting an ear bashing and you could tell from their answers that they believe every word.
