| A reply from Ken for you Robert:-
Have dooyoo posted up the listing yet? If not, email them with the right category.
If the listing is already posted, then whatever he does DON'T post his review, otherwise it'll be off topic. Instead, email dooyoo and explain the situation, while at the same time putting in a new request for the listing in the proper Category.
Alternatively, he can leave me a message in my tooyoo guestbook with the link, and I'll do my best to get it sorted for him.

| To be honest I wouldn't worry, Dooyoo are not going to mind if you propose something and don't write a review for it. | |

My product Suggestions keep disappearing from the list STILL. I thought they would have fixed it by now.I spend time looking for the products and adding them, only for them to disappear a week later and still no category to write under.
I've added the same products 3 times now. Is this happening to anyone else?

It worked great at the beginning, what could they have done to cause this? meh

| Sometimes suggestion dissapear because they are already listed on site.I suspect, though, its because the dooyoo person posting up is just making it look they are doing more graft, deleting some to meet deadlines. Bit like posties chucking mail back in the post boxes to pretend they have finshed their round. | |

I've added the same products 3 times now. Is this happening to anyone else? What is it you are trying to add? Computer and Photography products cannot be added and I've said I'd let everyone know when they can be - until then products proposed in those categories will keep being removed from the suggestions page to stop clogging it up.
If it is another category let me know and I'll have a word and see what'a happening.
D Oh....I didn't see your post about that. I've only read about it being a glitch. Ah well, guess I can only wait. Wish the products stayed in the list though... Any ideas how long? Thanks.

The key word in the Dooyoo blurb you quoted Drew is always oh I realise that, it's just that until they actually act on that it is impossible to know how they are measuring 'always'. To me, it seems rediculous to think that situation would ever happen as written. I would have thought saying someone who regularly suggests a product but then doesnt write in it, would have been better. Say, if a person only wrote in about 1/4 of the suggestions they made? (p.s - figure pulled out of thin air, maybe more that half would have been beter, who knows. I'm a bit bored.)

I've added the same products 3 times now. Is this happening to anyone else? I did two proposals last week one got added in the book section and one did not which was in the food section, it could be that Dooyoo do not want to list the product I do not remember reading that they guarantee to accept every product proposed. I will have a look at the guide forum to see if their is any news on the site.

| I doubt they'd have a problem with all of them. I f they were declined, I would have received an email about it like I do when they're accepted.
Previous ones I tried were computing. Are mobile phone accessories ok to be proposed?

Couple of issues here. Sadly, at the moment dooyoo do not inform you if your suggestion was declined - it just disappears from the list. I know this first hand, because I wanted www.doglistener.co.uk to go under pets (as that's what I'm guiding, and the category is very slow - hint hint) - it was rejected as pets, and I heard nothing. I then resuggested it in internet, and it was added the same day. Suggestions appear to be going up quite quickly, though the communication is not what it should be. As to Phil/Gary's and Rachel's theory that it's a conspiracy to make Dooyoo look busier or something...c'mon guys. Dooyoo is suffering from a desperate lack of communication skills at the moment (and there has been a deafening silence to everyone - I've not heard from Anne in yonks, despite having asked questions and so forth), it's not a plot. It's not a conspiracy. Jeez!

| What does everyone do if they can't find a link to info or pictures about the product they are trying to suggest?
This has happened to me. It is a specific toy that Woolworths Chad Valley make but it is not shown on their website and I can't find it anywhere else. I have added a link to the Chad Valley site from Woolworths but not the product specifically.
Do you think it will still be added?

What category should I suggest this under?

| A DVD proposal disappeared. When I resubmit, it says that it's already been suggested. Can't find the product anywhere though.
The only thing that's sticking is the mobile phone accesory.
Hmmmm.....so products can be declined and I won't receive an email? I still doubt so many different suggestions could be declined all at once though so I'll leave it down to them sorting out those categories.
Can't explain the DVD one though.
