Is it possible to get a quick reply box like opinionators and FOIB mark 1 had?

It would be especially useful for the work games and other fora where one or two (or three) word answers are sufficient.

Cheers

Drew was looking into it. We decided to opt for a basic package, see how it goes, and then extend at a later date, when our knowledge of the forums workings is better.

I sometimes found that the "quick reply", or whatever it was called, didn't always work because of the timing control that wouldn't let you add messages quickly, especially in the word games. So I had to wait until the system let me reply. With this one (phbbp) it doesn't happen because of the time taken for the reply box to appear.

I have noticed a little icon saying "lock thread" now. Was it always there and do we now all have powers. I thought I had been promoted to Mod or something Razz

Yes but it is different now, it has things to change the text like bold etc and smiley faces on it. I could only ever access that if I clicked on "post reply".
