Change of username

I joined Ciao and Dooyoo at round about the same time, but with different usernames. People know me more as Louise90 as I'm more active on Ciao than Dooyoo, and very rarely go to Dooyoo. Well, in the last half hour I have been to Dooyoo & wrote a review. My username on there is Sweetpea1. People, I assume, don't know that I am the same person unless they know the photo!

Is there anyway I can change my username on Dooyoo? I did email Dooyoo once with this query, but never did get a response!

most folks just put it in their profile to be honest, have never heard of anyone changing it before.

That's a good idea Lou. I nearly rated you as a copier tonight but looked to see who you were. In your about me would help a lot.

Oh dear! I'm glad you didn't rate me as a copier! I've now put in my profile of my username on Ciao! Thanks for suggesting that, as I never thought of it! Louise. x

I always check and double check before I rate someone as a copier.

I was told by dooyoo that a change of username is not possible, You need to delete your current account and rejoin under a new username as long as you do not use your previous reviews on dooyoo there is no problem

Lou - I'm jaggynettles on DooYoo and kollarosie on Ciao.

I put it in my "about me" on both DooYoo and Ciao and in my first few DooYoo reviews - which were duplicated from my Ciao account, i put "First published by me (xxxx) on Ciao.

Cooeee is right. You can't change name.

I also have different names on the two sites and so far have not been accused of copying even though I do not bother to publish my Ciao name on the Dooyoo about me.

Im Sarccyslayer on Dooyoo and Kappaslappa on Ciao and was told recently that I couldnt change my Dooyoo name without deleting my current account and re-starting again pale

I don't fancy deleting my account and starting again as I've written so many reviews on Dooyoo! I think I'll just stick to saying who I am on Ciao in my profile on Dooyoo!

It's okay Lou. With a photo we all know who you are and if as you say you mentioned in your about me that should be enough !!
