GRIPES ABOUT DOOYOO REVIEWS.

Have we really got anything to gripe about that justifies a review ?

I think that if you have enough problems with any review site that you can created a 500 word write up about it, then you should look to do something else with your spare time.

The odd gripe on sites like this is one thing but posting fully fledged reveiws is taking it all a bit seriously.

Write reviews, have a chat, earn some pennies and get a life.

I think they can be interesting to read as some of the Frustration with Dooyoo ones have been, but unless Dooyoo read them too and maybe action things that memebers suggest it won't actually make any difference.

Yeh, I actually meant the frustration with dooyoo category but got the name wrong.

I would love to have a rant about what makes a good review as sometimes whatever you write and whatever style you change it to someone is always commenting on it not being helpful enough.

In those circumstances, just write the best that you can. You cannot please everyone. It's an impossible task.

I think there should be a category for ranting about ranting.

I love a good old review rant. It's far more entertaining to write about something which really really gets up your nose. The rants/negative reviews are also much more enjoyable to read as generally speaking they contain more of the writers personality.

Trouble is whenever someone does a review rant you can guarantee some members will leave infuriating comments in the comment section. Comments such as "calm down, it's only a website" and "Oooo I could feel your anger" are guaranteed to make my blood boil. Can't people learn the difference between sarcasm and anger?

Do you reckon Dooyoo would add a Ranting about Ranting category? Ciao would add it cos they're thick. Actually I may give it a try

Well dooyoo are broadminded enough to have an area called "Frustrations with dooyoo" and Ciao now have a category for members to leave feedback on their frustrations with their site useage. That should be interesting.
