LOCKED OFF CIAO.

I can log in as windows has saved my password, although I have no clue what it is. When I log in I get this message.

Several of our e-mails have been rejected by the e-mail address you have given us. Please provide an address where we can contact you.

Important: If you have a spam filter, please add info.uk@team.ciao.com and survey@ciao-uk.com to your contacts list or make sure that your filter is set so that you can receive e-mails from these addresses.

Change e-mail address:

1. Enter your current password and new e-mail address below.


2. For security purposes, your password will also be changed and the new temporary password will be sent to your new e-mail address.


3. Please keep your e-mail address and other personal details up-to-date on the Settings page of your Ciao Account.


Okay so I can change the email addy, but without knowing the password, I cannot fill out the form, and when I try with my existing email address to get my password, it does not recognise it. Catch 22. Locked out.

I ahd this once I think and I wrote them an email explaining, they just put it right and let me back in.

I am actually back in now but my ratings are not showing up and messages I leave in guestbooks are disappearing. Think we are in for a day of it. Alerts not working either.

Loads of people have been getting this today so maybe they are updating their e-mail data base so they can track all the multiple accounts. Hurrah.

Hehe, well I wasn't one of em. Wish they let me keep the old one. Its much better.

Problem is many members have decided to just put another e-mail address in as ciao rarely answer their e-mails to their members and they have not recieved their new passswords at the new e-mail address so I am trying to help quite a few sort that out.
