2 dollars is from article about crochet- which is making between 20-40 cents a day- so far 22 cents today.

1.09 is from an article about credit cards

and the rest is from my other 29 articles- and 2 of them are at over 30 cents!

Very true persephone. Its kinda cool to watch a new month start and the same articles are still bring in the pennies lol. It seems to get slower thru the week has anyone else noticed that?

A thought. Helium says you earn based on how many people view your articles. Does that include people rating the article?

If so, categories with only one article in will never get as many reads unless they are especially interesting or having traffic driven to them from elsewhere. If that's the case it doesn't favour the niche writer too well.

I believe its only per view as in when the person purposefully clicks on your article in order to read it by choice. Not when being rated.

you do not get a piece of a penny when you are being rated darnit or we'd all be doing reallllly well! The more views your article has the better. If you can link from other sites or put your link at the bottom of your email perhaps that might inspire folk to view your work too. Hey gotta sell yourself somehow!

Still on $0 - but I've barely started.

I've added a couple more but still only have 39 articles. Been concentrating on something else the past week. So I haven't written much on helium. 3 more cents and I'll hit $10.00

I'm on $0.99 now, after 6 weeks lol, oh well, I haven't really been putting much effort in so I can't complain.

$1.67 - but I'm not putting in much effort either. In my eyes reward is to low at to moment to get seriously involved. I'm posting 2-3 articles per week just for the fun of it and to get an idea how everything is working.

I think if I could find some places to post my links it would help to drive activity to em. But so far I've only found a couple places to post a couple of em. but helium is fun and with little effort it does bring in the pennies plus ya get to speak your mind on topics when ya want to. lol

Yay! I broke the two dollar mark! I went from $1.99 to $2.12 while I slept!

should be hitting the first cash out in the next few days....hurrah. Havent posted much for weeks so it shows that articles have a continuous shelf life, you just need to get a decent body of work up first.

Ah well I still don't really get it, and way too many of my reviews are 1 of 1's... guess that what comes of writing about older and genre type films maybe?
