Helium contest.

I have been looking at the Helium contest and it really is taking off. I shall give a ten pound amazon voucher to the highest of our members on the list at the end of the second week.

I see you and persephone are on the list. Good for you. I was very happy to see a couple of my favorite heliumites on the list.

One thing about the contest it definetly encourages more writing.

Well Persephone is bouncing up and down (not literally) I entered to see what the contest was like, eventually I will probably bounce right off the list. The titles I can write to are very few, perhaps next week they'll be a bit more interesting and less flippin baseball and basketball orientated. But it did get me to add a few more articles to my repetoire. Perhaps there will some historical titles to write to.

I threw my neck out drying my hair this morning so not much writing for me today. I have a neckbrace on and clear plastic lampshade for embarrassment purposes so that I can remind myself never to attempt to do a Nice & Easy head swirling-tossing impression ever again.

Nothing like a persephone bumping up and down is there !! You knocked one of mine off I think.

I have quite a picture in my mind right now. LOL

I finally made it to the list yeah! I jumped up and ran outside to tell hubby when I saw it. I keep bouncing around all over it too tho. sooo who knows. Guess we will see!

I am hoping to find some better topics on the list next week. Not better really as there are some good ones. But some that are more around my interests I guess.

Gosh sorry Thingy, suppose the bouncing does get a bit out of control. Glad to see you on there dream, you too Thingy. Puter still frazzled but having it checkd tmrw. I can actually look to my left now, wincing still...

Could do with a massage but the closest I'll get is leaning up against the doorframe trying to find the sharp corner of it to lean against. If I turned around and rubbed my head against it I'd get mistaken for a rutting deer. And that's NOT an endearing term...

I am up to No. 5 but I guess thats where I shall stay now.

Well, for a first competition think we should all be quite proud of ourselves. Even those of us whose computers are hacking away at our sanity...

It's great to go up but sure is bumpy on the way down. But I got my 2nd payout so am not going to think less of myself (i'll leave that to others lol) I contributed to what I could without sounding like I was talking out of my bum! That's for next contest...

I am off to bed. No. 3 at the moment but not sure I shall be there in the morning so took a screenshot as a memento.

It really was a marathon. It reminded me of the write a novel in a month thing, but paid off. I have written 14 articles so far for the new one but am not keen on the titles this time around.

Congratulations on a job well done thingy and persephone.

I fell off the list last night and never got back on it. Oh well I have a lot of new articles to earn me more pennies now. Definately gave me incenitive to write more. And it is fun.

I'm working on the 2nd contest now to. Although it seems tougher for me now as there are no topics for fitness so now I have to do a little research in order to write under topics that I usually wouldn't attempt.

yes I noticed the topics are slim pickings (whoever that is).

However I find the topic title 'How to go to the bathroom in the woods' very intriguing.'

Took some doing Wendy, believe me. It's a whole new concept in writing and reminds me of writing to deadlines for magazines. I love it. It brings out so much energy in me that I find the whole experience very addictive. I have earned 158 dollars in just under 2 months.

Well Blue, at least the keys on your keyboard aren't missing...I pulled the plug on my computer this morn and it swung up and hit the keyboard sending my a s d c x w e into oblivion.

I do have the strangest luck. I think I have been sucked into a vortex of some unknown origin. Wonder how that happened...
