New Guides (Or lack of them!)

I notice that dooyoo have recently appointed a number of new Guides in various categories, but also that my own two favourite categories (Sports and Motors) are currently without any Guides. Do dooyoo have anyone in line to replace them, as the vacancies are not being advertised in the Community section?

I ask primarily because it's my experience that it's practically impossible (not IMPOSSIBLE, but practically impossible) to win a Crown in a category that is without a Guide. So it tends to demotivate me (and others I'm sure) from writing in those categories.

Now no Guide in Speaker's Corner either. (As well as Sports!)

well given the number of categories and guides required, one vacancy at a time would seem to be business as usual.

I would say for people to apply they know where to go, but as no one seems to visit or contribute to RWF any more that might be some pointless!
