Using the search engine on Dooyoo seems a total waste of time. You type in most words and it will bring up a massive result. Is there much point in having this search engine there?

I guess it depends what you're looking for. I find DooYoo's search engine much better than Ciao's.

The one area I think they really could perfect, and that's down to categorisation, is the travel section.

I can't say it has given me much problem at all except on dooyoo france and Spain where it shows up the categories but won't let you write in them.

Okay try and explain what is happening and what you find, and maybe someone can help you with it. That's what boards like this are for. If you tell us the problems you encounter, more experienced members may be able to help.

Okay, I can see where you are going wrong. Go to your home page, type in the product and then use the sliding thing to chose which category.
As it happens, its not on the database so you can suggest it but here you narrow down the search by putting which category you would expect to find it.

best way to search Dooyoo if I remember rightly is to go to google, enter the item you are looking for and add dooyoo to the end.

I do remember vaguely ILJD desiging some kind of dooyoo search engine thing but that was a few years ago.

Not sure if this is the reason but I had an MP3 suggestion disappear and when I went to the product page I had given Dooyoo on Amazon it showed as no longer being in stock and only available in the new and used and I assumed this was the reason they did not add it to the product list as it had already been replaced.

I was still annoyed because the product is still for sale elsewhere and I will probably suggest it again in a couple of weeks time.

Just adding one now. Let's hope it doesn't get lost as well. Have dooyoo said there are problems in this area ?
